Patna : Addressing the Session, Chairman of the Bihar Legislative Council Shri Awdhesh Narayan Singh welcomed all the delegates to Bihar and said that Bihar is honoured to host the AIPOC after four decades. Noting that Lok Sabha Speaker has been working tirelessly to strengthen democracy and to promote dialogues among democratic institutions, He opined that Shri Birla’s leadership, as AIPOC Chairman, has guided the Presiding Officers in discharging their responsibilities. He also spoke about the glorious history of Bihar and the contributions of the State to nation building. Shri Singh hoped that the debates and discussions during the two – days Conference will help the legislatures and the Presiding Officers in their efficient functioning.
