BJP issues whip for Rajya Sabha MPs to be present on important ‘businesses’

New Delhi: The BJP Parliamentary Party has issued a whip to its Rajya Sabha MPs to be present for ‘important works’. The government can first introduce a bill to repeal agricultural laws in the Rajya Sabha, which has got the approval of the cabinet.

The Center is moving quickly to repeal agricultural laws. The bill is likely to get Parliament’s nod in the first few working days of the winter session. The BJP Parliamentary Party is yet to issue a whip for its Lok Sabha MPs.

The cabinet has approved a legislative proposal to repeal three controversial laws that stoked protests by farmer unions for more than a year, floor leader of the BJP in both houses for smooth passage of the bill Making a strategy, the opposition is likely to move forward.
