Budget session: 51 days, 29 sittings

New Delhi: The forthcoming Budget Session of Parliament will be of total 51 days but sittings of both houses will be for 29 days. Rest of 22 days includes recess period and Saturdays – Sundays.

The sittings for Lok Sabha fixed provisionally for January: 31st February: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th

In order to enable the Departmentally Related Standing Committees to consider the Demands for Grants of Ministries/Departments and prepare the reports, the House will adjourn on 11th February, 2022 to meet again on 14th March, 2022.

In this phase sittings will be on March: 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st . April : 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th

Private Members’ Business have been allotted for the transaction of Private Members‟ Business during Bills 4th February; 17th March and 1st April, 2022. For Resolutions 11th February; 25th March and 8th April, 2022.
