Rumors are rife that the senior legislator is not showing much interest in the two constitutional posts and is more interested in a ministerial berth.

A Congress leader said, “The election of the Speaker will be held on January 5. So, the chief minister will definitely discuss the issue with party leaders in Delhi.” Along with this, the Chief Minister has also said in the past that the cabinet expansion can be done immediately after the winter session. Therefore, the cabinet expansion may also be discussed with senior party leaders.

However, in Delhi, Sukhu said that he had come to invite the party’s state in-charge Rajeev Shukla for the ‘Abhar rally’ to be held in Dharamshala tomorrow.

The BJP has been attacking the Congress for its inability to form a full cabinet. Due to the intensification of BJP’s attack, the Chief Minister will be under pressure to expand the cabinet at the earliest.
