New Delhi 13 June: Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla will be on a one day visit to Mumbai on 16 June 2023. He is scheduled to inaugurate the First National Legislators Conference to be held in Mumbai on 16th June 2023 at the Jio World Convention Centre. The Conference will be held over three days from 15th to 17th June 2023.
Aimed at strengthening democracy, the three-day Conference will feature parallel panel discussions covering ten key themes, including technology-driven economic growth, international legislative practices, and collaborative efforts between bureaucrats and legislators for social progress.
Shri Birla will also inaugurate the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Innovation Expo. The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Innovation Expo seeks to showcase Good Governance Models, Social Innovation and Innovative Development Models, Flagship Programs by State Governments, Institute, Individuals etc .
Former Speakers of Lok Sabha have also been invited to the Conference. Several dignitaries will address the Conference.
