New Delhi: The Monsoon Session of Parliament is going on, in which the standoff between the ruling party and the opposition continues. Meanwhile, the suspension of all the suspended MPs of Congress has been canceled.
The resolution to end the suspension was brought in the Lok Sabha after the consent of the opposition, after which the suspension of the suspended MPs from the Lok Sabha ended.
Om Birla had called a meeting of leaders of all parties. After Speaker Birla’s request, the government brought a proposal to remove the suspension of MPs in the Lok Sabha.
Om Birla said that he appeals to all the members that no one should come to the house with a play card. For the last time getting a chance, if someone comes with a play card, then action will have to be taken.
In fact, in the monsoon session of Parliament, there was a lot of uproar over issues like inflation, GST. The opposition is continuously protesting on these issues. In late July, four Congress MPs were suspended from the Lok Sabha for the entire session for showing a placard in Parliament.
The suspended MPs included Manickam Tagore, TN Pratapan, Jothimani and Ramya Haridas. After this there was a ruckus in the house. Congress MPs also staged a sit-in in the Parliament premises against the suspension.
