Question on top proceedings of Parliament on social welfare

New Delhi: Parliament may have seen protests or uproar over border tensions, agricultural laws, defense deals or foreign affairs, but its MPs have generally shown greater concern for livelihood and social welfare issues, according to data analyzed by HT.

A study of the Question Hour of the 17th Lok Sabha and its corresponding period in the Rajya Sabha shows that MPs asked more questions on issues such as health, education and agriculture than on foreign policy or defence.
