New Delhi : Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday assured that the Opposition’s aim was for the Lok Sabha to function amid the almost-daily protests in Parliament that have led to washing out of proceedings. However, the Trinamool Congress suggested that the House runs as per how the Congress and BJP dictate it.
“Our aim is that the House must run, and a discussion should happen in the House. Let them say whatever they want against me, we want the Constitution debate on December 13,” Rahul Gandhi told reporters outside Parliament.
He added that, regardless of BJP leaders of what BJP leaders might allege, “we only want the
House to function”.
