Rajya Sabha Congratulate PV Sindhu, won a medal in Olympics for the second time

New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha on Monday appointed P.V. Sindhu on the occasion of winning a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics. Speaker of the House M. Venkaiah Naidu said that I congratulate PV Sindhu for winning the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics. With her stellar performance, she has created history by becoming the first Indian woman to win two consecutive Olympic medals.

Sindhu beat He Bingjiao of China 21-13, 21-15 at the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza to add a second medal to India’s Olympic tally. This is Sindhu’s second Olympic medal after winning a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics . She also became the first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals. With Sindhu’s bronze, India has now equaled its tally of the 2016 Rio Olympics.
