Lukhnow: The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature is set to commence on February 18 and will continue for about a week. The state budget for the financial year 2025-26 will be presented on February 19, with an estimated size of `8 lakh crore. While the ruling party will showcase its achievements, the opposition is expected to raise concerns over key issues, including farmers’ welfare, women’s safety, law and order, and the recent Maha Kumbh accident.
