AI to revolutionise parliamentary reporting in Kyrgyzstan

The Kyrgyzstan Parliament, known as the Jogorku Kenesh, has introduced artificial intelligence to enhance public access to legislative activities, according to the official press service, as reported by Kazinform, a partner of TV BRICS.

Two AI-powered virtual anchors, named “Aym Kenesh Kyzy” and “Mirza Myzam Uulu”, have been launched to deliver informational bulletins, summarise daily proceedings, and provide weekly overviews of parliamentary developments.

“This project shows how innovation can reshape parliamentary reporting and make the legislative process more accessible to the public,” the press release stated.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to digitalise parliamentary operations and improve transparency. Officials say the AI anchors are among the first projects to demonstrate how emerging technologies can transform the work of the legislature and strengthen communication with citizens.

The move also reflects Kyrgyzstan’s growing technological capacity. In 2025, resident companies of the country’s High Technology Park increased revenue by 50 per cent, expanded exports to 70 countries, and created around 3,000 jobs, highlighting the rapid development of the IT sector.

By leveraging this domestic expertise in digital innovation, the parliament is applying advanced technology to public administration, signalling a new era of tech-driven governance in the country.
