Delhi Assembly panel to study waste management, visits Pune, Hyderabad

New Delhi: A nine-member committee of the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Tuesday undertook a four-day visit to Pune and Hyderabad to study best practices of solid waste management. The committee will visit the landfill sites of both the cities, see the arrangements for domestic waste collection and meet mayors and officials of the respective municipal corporations. The committee will be in Pune on 21st and 22nd December while visiting Hyderabad on 23rd and 24th December.
