Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar has referred BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi’s complaint against Congress Chief Whip Jairam Ramesh to the Committee of Privileges.
According to the Rajya Sabha bulletin released on Thursday, Mr Trivedi has filed a complaint against Mr Ramesh for “persistent and willful derogatory remarks against the Chairman, Rajya Sabha and imputations on his impartiality”. The committee has been asked to further investigate the matter. But no time frame has been set for them.
