New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla will address both Houses of Karnataka Legislature – Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly – in the Assembly Hall of the Legislative Assembly of Karnataka in Bangaluru at 2.30 pm on 24 September 2021.
The theme of Shri Birla’s Address will be ‘Democracy – Safeguarding democratic values’.
Chairman of Legislative Council of Karnataka Shri Basavaraj Horatti, Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly Shri Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri; Ministers, Members of Parliament, MLCs, MLAs and other dignitaries will be present on the occasion.
It will be the first time that Shri Birla will be addressing the Joint Session of the two Houses of a Legislature.
Shri Birla met with Media in the Conference Hall of the Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru in the morning.
