Tbilisi : The Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, has announced that the Prime Minister’s annual report will be presented to Parliament during the final week of the plenary sessions.
According to him, everyone, including the opposition, will have the opportunity to participate in the debate, either by asking questions or making speeches.
“The spring session closes on June 26. The Prime Minister’s report will take place during the final week of the plenary sessions, most likely on June 26, though we will still agree on the final date. I will not preempt the Prime Minister’s report, even though it has been submitted in writing. However, in his oral address, the Prime Minister will cover all key priorities necessary to present the government’s activities and highlight the current indicators of the country’s development. I will not engage in this discussion beforehand; we will have a plenary session. Everyone, including the opposition, will have the chance to be involved in this debate by putting forward questions or delivering speeches,” Shalva Papuashvili stated.
