Delighted to meet H.E. Mr. Mongkol Surasajja, President of the Senate of Thailand, and reaffirmed the enduring friendship between India and Thailand, rooted in centuries-old cultural and civilisational ties.”

It was a pleasure to interact with Ms. Mai Dung Thai Quynh, Member of Parliament of Vietnam, and members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group, reaffirming the deep-rooted bonds of friendship between India and Vietnam, nurtured by our shared cultural heritage and Buddhist traditions.

We exchanged views on enhancing parliamentary engagement, fostering institutional collaboration and exploring new avenues of cooperation in trade, industry, information technology and AI, with a focus on ensuring that technological advancements serve humanity and promote public welfare.

I am confident that these exchanges will further enrich our parliamentary partnership and add new vigour to the enduring friendship between our two nations.

Held a cordial interaction with a delegation of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, led by its Chair, Mr. David McAllister.

During the interaction, I emphasised the shared democratic values, pluralism and diversity underpinning India–EU relations and underscored the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral ties.

Our discussions also focused on enhancing cooperation in trade, technology, innovation, clean energy, security and defence, alongside greater parliamentary exchanges and people-to-people engagement. I highlighted initiatives undertaken by the Indian Parliament to promote transparency, accessibility and the people centric, responsible and accountable use of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence.
