Gandhinagar: The Monsoon Session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly will commence on September 8 and will be three days long.
Speaker of the Assembly, Shankar Chaudhary, shared details regarding the session and said, “Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat has summoned the seventh session of the 15th Legislative Assembly. This monsoon session will be held over three days, on September 8, 9, and 10.”
Chaudhary also announced the timeline for submitting starred questions. MLAs can submit their starred question notices starting today, August 8, until August 20.
“During the three-day session, the GST (Amendment) Bill and the Factory Act (Amendment) Bill are expected to be tabled in the Assembly,” the Speaker added. A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee will be held on September 6, Saturday.
