Nepal president prorogues both houses of Parliament from Oct 2 midnight

Kathmandu :  Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, has prorogued the current session of both houses of the Parliament effective from Friday midnight.

The president has prorogued the current session of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly in accordance with Article 93, Sub-Article 2 of the Constitution of Nepal and on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on September 29, according to a notice issued by the spokesperson at the Office of the President.
