Pawan Kalyan tells JSP MPs to raise Andhra Pradesh issues in Parliament 

Jana Sena Party (JSP) president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan on Saturday directed the party’s Members of Parliament to raise issues concerning Andhra Pradesh during the Monsoon Session of Parliament while keeping the national perspective in mind.

Addressing a meeting of the Jana Sena Parliamentary Party at his residence in Hyderabad, Mr. Kalyan said the principle of “Nation First” should be reflected in parliamentary debates and that every opportunity should be utilised to safeguard the State’s interests.

He explained the party’s stand on key Bills proposed to be introduced during the session and outlined the strategy to be adopted on various issues.

Mr. Kalyan asked the MPs to press the Centre for the release of funds due to Andhra Pradesh and to pursue pending projects.

Lok Sabha members Vallabhaneni Balashowry and Tangella Uday Srinivas, and Rajya Sabha member Lingamaneni Ramesh attended the meeting.
