The Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Kerala and Maharashtra attended this meeting through video conferencing. The meeting of the Chief Ministers with the Prime Minister started at 11 am.
23 thousand crore fund released for states
PM Modi said that the Center has given a fund of 23 thousand crore rupees to the states to deal with the corona crisis. States should use this package to strengthen health infrastructure. There is a need to focus more on rural areas.
Prime Minister gave this important advice to CM
He also said that at present 80 percent of new cases of corona are coming out from these 6 states. In such a situation, there is a need to adopt the formula of test-track-treat-vaccine.
Discussion with Chief Ministers regarding stock of vaccine
Let us know that three days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the stock of vaccines with the Chief Ministers of the North-East states. India is still facing the second wave of Coronavirus. In the meeting with the Chief Ministers, PM Modi had given a mantra to work at the micro-level.
